Oikia is the Greek word for home. We're a Spirit-filled, Word-centered community in Austin, Texas — and a part of a global family that's been growing together since 2008.
Oikia Christian Centre began in 2008 as a small university fellowship in Lagos, Nigeria — a few students hungry for God and community. By 2015, we were formally incorporated as a church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Femi Olaleye.
Today, Oikia has grown into a global family with many expressions across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and now the United States — with our newest expression right here in Austin, Texas.
We are a community that prays, rallies around each other, and goes wherever the Lord sends us — making disciples of every nation, men and women from every tongue, tribe, and race.
